Building our Valley bench now

You took a pay cut to work with kids. We think that's backwards.

A pediatric occupational therapist in the Phoenix metro averages $41.31 an hour. The same licence, in adult or inpatient care, pays $48 to $54. That gap is why this field can't keep people — and closing it is the entire reason this practice exists.

The terms, in writing

Every one of these is a thing the agencies won't put in a contract.

These aren't perks. They're the specific complaints therapists make about agency and platform work, answered one at a time, in the engagement letter.

1

Documentation and IEP time is paid

Evaluations, IEP meetings, notes and report writing are the bulk of a school-based week and they are work. They appear as a paid line on your statement, not as something you absorb after hours.

2

A caseload cap you agreed to

The number is in your contract. You can decline a referral that is outside your scope or over the cap without it affecting your standing or your hours.

3

Cancellation runs both ways

If a site cancels inside 48 hours, you are paid. There is no attendance-point system and no rating that quietly reduces the work you get offered.

4

Drive time and mileage paid

If you're covering homes, schools or multiple sites, the windshield time is on the clock. It is not a rounding error in your week and we don't treat it as one.

5

A named supervising OT

New grads get mentorship and everyone gets a clinical peer to call. Professional isolation is the number one complaint in virtual and PRN work and it is a solvable problem.

6

Paid on time, no fees to get your money

No platform fee, no per-shift charge, no instant-pay surcharge to access wages you already earned.

On money

We'll tell you the number on the first call.

No "competitive compensation." No salary range so wide it means nothing. You tell us the setting and the hours, we tell you what it pays, and you decide whether it's worth a conversation. If it isn't, you've lost ten minutes.

We'd rather run a smaller practice of therapists who stay than a large one with a revolving door. Turnover costs more than paying people properly, and the families feel every departure.
